Accessibility Support Room (201A) is located on the 2nd floor of the Dafoe Library, with easy access from elevator exit.
The Room is equipped with:
A height-adjustable table
A large-size table
Anti-glare lamps
A scanner
A Windows public workstation with 27 inch monitor and Internet access
An ergonomically adjustable chair
Room 201A is suitable for individual or group use. The Room can be booked on a first-come-first-served basis for a maximum duration of 2 hours at a time. You can request a longer period if there is no apparent demand at the end of the initial 2 hours. To book the Room, contact the Service Desk of Dafoe Library in person, by phone at (204) 474-9844 or via e-mail at dafoe@umanitoba.ca. If you need any assistance for the use of Room 201A, please ensure beforehand that the staff will be available when you visit the Library. The Room is also open to the students of Campus Life Program, which is the University’s outreach program.
