Administrative history: The Associate Vice-President (Operations) was responsible for administering the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the University of Manitoba's physical resources and environments.  The roles of the Associate Vice-President (Operations) have since been assumed by the Vice-President (Administration).

Scope and content: The records of the Associate Vice-President (Operations) contain files primarily related to the buildings and equipment of the University and related budgetary matters. The files include structural engineering reports, contracts, control budgets, and reports on various University building programs.
