Administrative history: In 1981, the former positions of Provost assisting the Vice-President (Academic) were redefined along functional lines. One provost position was given the responsibility for academic programs. This position was retitled as Associate Vice-President (Programs).

Scope and content: The series contains board minutes, correspondence, and reports related to the Churchill Northern Studies Centre.
