Biographical sketch: Kathleen Richardson is a philanthropist.  She was awarded an honourary degree from the University of Manitoba for her sustaining support to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She delivered the convocation speech at the 1989 110th Convocation Ceremonies and accepted an award on behalf of dancer, Evelyn Hart.

Custodial history: The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in 1989 by Kathleen Richardson.

Scope and content: The fonds consists of one letter from Kathleen Richardson to Brian Salt, University of Manitoba Student Records, and a copy of her convocation speech.
