Elizabeth Dafoe Library offers self-serve and custom fee-based in house scanning service for faculty, staff and students of University of Manitoba as well as non-U of M affiliated researchers.
Our flatbed scanner, used for custom scanning, is equipped with a planetary camera that enables us to scan rare, fragile and large items making it possible to convert maps, delicate materials and any other items for electronic use and distribution.
We provide Epson and Xerox scanners for patrons to use in the library.

There is no cost involved for self-service scanning
Canada’s Copyright Act governs the making of photocopies, digital copies, or other reproductions of copyright-protected works and the sharing or communicating of such works.
