Help for Logging Into Library Resources
On Monday, April 28th, the University of Manitoba Libraries (UML) implemented a change to our authentication system. Now all faculty, staff and students of the University of Manitoba must login to our electronic materials using their UMNetID (your University of Manitoba computer account). This is the same username and password you would use to access your University of Manitoba email account, JUMP, and the Wireless Network.
If you have not claimed your UMNet ID, you may do so by going to Iridium (the University’s identity management system):
If you haven't used your UM email or changed your UMNet ID password in a while, your password may have expired which will prevent you from using Library resources. You can check on your account status and change your password at Iridium:
If you have a very old UM computer account (obtained more than one year ago) and can’t remember your password, you may not be able to use Iridium to change the password. To change the password you will need to contact:
Help & Solutions Centre for assistance from 8:00am to 8:00pm
230 Neil John MacLean Library
If you know your UMNetID and have recently changed your password but are still having difficulties, please contact the Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library at email@example.com or 204-789-3464
Lexicomp Mobile Wait List
Effective July 4, 2014, a wait list has been established for Lexicomp mobile accounts. Those who are placed on the wait list will receive an account only if one becomes available. The full complement of accounts will become available on a first-come first-served basis during the renewal period, which takes place annually in January.
