Academic Workshops are designed to support the learning that students do in the classroom. These workshops are geared toward undergraduate students, however all UM students are free to attend.

These workshops are designed to help graduate students navigate their programs and prepare them to transfer their skills and knowledge into the workplace; whether that be in a traditional academic setting, or for-profit or not-for-profit organizations.

Writing Tutors

Get feedback on your research papers and improve your writing skills!

Writing Tutors from the Academic Learning Centre are available in the Elizabeth Dafoe Library and the Sciences and Technology Library.  Appointments for a free one-on-one session can be booked online.  If there are no scheduled appointments, writing tutors will accept drop-ins.

10:30 AM - 2:30 PM 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Writing tutor dates will go from January 17 - April 6, 2018.
