Its purpose is to collect, store, preserve and provide access to digital versions of the scholarly works of UM faculty and student body. The collection boundaries of MSpace include: faculty publications (preprint, open deposit manuscripts, technical reports, working papers); theses; conference proceedings; visual and audio works.
The Libraries work with University units to build communities and populate collections in support of funder and related mandates of open access deposit. Deposit is subject to copyright compliance, distribution license and other license restrictions that may be imposed on the work.
