1.  Contact Alumni Relations to obtain your Alumni number:

2.a -  For Alumni who graduated after December 31, 2014, login to SignUM using your UMnetID:

• Select “Request Access” – press “Request for Self” option that appears.
• From the list of categories, add “Libraries” to your cart.
• Under "Justification" add your Alumni Number.
• Go to “Next” and submit the request.
• Allow up to 24 hours for account to activate.

Account renewal: You will receive an email when your account is up for renewal. You will need to login to SignUM to and re-accept the usage agreement annually for your account to stay active.

2.b - For Alumni who graduated prior to 2015:

To obtain your Alumni Library account:

• Fill out the Borrower Registration Form  *Only fill out this form if you graduated PRIOR to 2015*
• Don't forget to include your Alumni number.
• Email form to lindsay.trybell@umanitoba.ca or visit any U of M Library in person for immediate assistance.

Account renewal: You will receive an email when your account is up for renewal. You will need to contact us via email, or visit any UM Library in person for us to renew your access. This must be done annually.

3.  Your Alumni number:

• Upon visiting a UM Library to loan out materials, give the circulation staff your Alumni number to be added to your account if you have not done so via email.

A few things to know regarding your UM Alumni Library account:

- If claimed through SignUM you will use your UM ID card as your Alumni card.

- If claimed through SignUM your UM email address will stay active indefinitely.
