Summary: This manual was written as a companion to the 'SF-36 Health Survey Manual and Interpretation Guide', which documents the development, psychometric evaluation and norming of the eight scales in the SF-36 Health Survey, Version 1 (v1). This manual provides comparable information from the physical (PCS) and mental (MCS) companent summary measures from the standard (4-week recall) and acute (1-week recall) forms of the SF-36 (v1).
