Summary: The Brigance Inventory of Early Development II Standardized, or IED II Standardized, is a component of the overall Brigance Special Education System developed to help special educators: determine present level of performance, derive standardized scores, including quotients, percentiles, age-equivalents, and instructional ranges, monitor growth and measure progress. The norm-referenced assessments in IED II Standardized are organized by the following skills areas, which are reflected in IDEA guidelines: physical development, language development, academic/cognitive, daily living, and social and emotional development.
