Summary: The manual in this kit describes a normative system designed to assist clinicians and researchers in their interpretation of the tests in an expanded Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Test Battery. A major purpose of this system is to improve neurodiagnostic accuracy by providing simultaneous corrections for four demographic variables that relate significantly to test performance: age, education, sex, and Caucasian as well as African American ethnicity. Another purpose of the system is to convert raw scores on diverse tests to standard scores, all of which have the same distribution in groups of neurologically normal adults.

("cognitive performance test") AND ((((("Reproducibility of Results"[Mesh]) OR "Sensitivity and Specificity"[Mesh])) OR (reliabl* OR valid*)) OR (sensitiv* AND specif*))
(("cognitive performance test”) OR (IN cognitive performance test)) AND (( (MH "Reliability and Validity+") OR (MH "Measurement Issues and Assessments+") OR (MH "Predictive Validity") OR (MH "Sensitivity and Specificity") ) OR ( reliabil* OR valid* ) OR ( sensitivity and specificity ))
The Neil John Maclean Health Sciences Library will provide assessment tools and outcome measures for loan to faculty, students and staff of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) with a valid University of Manitoba (U of M) Library ID.
