What is Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute?

VIsit Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute Web Site!

The Elizabeth Dafoe Library receives books published in India through its membership in the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute. The Institute supplies books about India that support teaching and research in the Faculty of Arts. The Library has a standing order by which the Institute supplies books published in India by Sage and the Oxford University Press. In addition the liaison librarian for Asian Studies selects books from other publishers which the Shastri Institute is asked to supply. The books selected must be books published in the current year or the previous year. The liaison librarian welcomes suggestions of titles to be ordered through the Shastri Institute.  Please send e-mail requests to Asako Yoshida.
