Manitoba Land Initiative: Manitoba Department of Conservation's Manitoba Land Initiative: topographic data can now be accessed online free of charge. It includes topographic data, base maps, soils maps, land use mapping, cadastral data, forest inventory, digital imagery, geology maps, community base maps, all administrative boundaries, quarter section grids, geographical names, water resource mapping, road maps, and other layers. The Libraries has developed some finding aids to speed access to some MLI data and orthophotos.
