Biographical sketch: Alice Millidge lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba during the time of the First World War. She corresponded with soldiers overseas during this time as a means of providing them with companionship and a distraction from the horrors of war.

Custodial history: The fonds was purchased by University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in 2004.

Scope and content: The fonds consists of correspondence between Alice Millidge and several Canadian soldiers who were serving overseas during the First World War.
