De-duping Medline and Embase in Ovid - Michelle Fiander 2014

  1. Run Medline and Embase simultaneously
  2. Use record numbers to distinguish between the two databases (E.g. if there are 100 results, with 75 from Medline, then you know your Embase records run from 76-100)
  3. In the left toolbar, click on “Deduplicate”
  4. In the settings make sure that Medline is first and that there are not any field preferences
  5. Export the Medline and Embase results separately
