LIBRARY SUPPORT FOR RESEARCHERS
DATA MANAGEMENT
Data Management is the organisation of data across the entire research lifecycle: from creation, analysis, sharing, to storage and preservation of that data. The intention of good data management practices is to improve the efficiency of the research process and address the expectations and requirements of the university, funders, and legislation.
"Data management planning is necessary at all stages of the research project lifecycle, from design and inception to completion." - Tri-Agency Statement of Principles on Data Management (2016)
