RESEARCHER PROFILE MANAGEMENT

Everyone has a digital presence and every digital asset together creates a profile. It is important for researchers to ensure their online presence, or ‘online research brand’, is coherent and conveys the correct information about their research. To manage their identity, each research platform that has a researcher profile function should be linked to all the digital products that is possible to be indexed in that platform or related to other platforms. A cohesive profile ensures that researchers get credit for their work, and extends their reach to new, interested communities and funders that would otherwise not learn about their research.
