    • Your username and password will be exactly the same for your UM email account, UM Learn, signUM, etc.
  • If you have not yet created your UMNetID, you can do so at signUM.
  • UM Students, Staff, and Faculty have full access to the University's online articles, books, and databases.

**The Sciences & Technology Library has one Accessibility iMac Workstation for public use. Login instructions can be found at the workstation.**

ICM (International College of Manitoba) Students

  • Log in to the library's public computers using your assigned UMnetID (not the full email address) and its password.
    • You would have received this information from the ICM Office in an email. Please contact them if you did not or if you are having problems with your account.
  • ICM students have full library access on campus only.

University of Manitoba Alumni & All Other Library Card Holders

  • Log in to one of the library's public computers using the Guest Account's generic username and password.
    • If the generic username and password are not written on the computer's background, you will need to request them from the front desk.
  • To access webpages beyond those affiliated with the University of Manitoba:
    • Enter the desired webpage's URL into your web browser.
    • A pop up will ask for you to authenticate your account. Do so by entering your library card's 14-digit ID as the username. Your password would have been provided to you when you set up your library account.
