     Tri-Agency Open Access Policy

The Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications requires that journal articles produced through Tri-Agency grants are made Open Access (OA) within 12 months of publication. That means if you have a grant through CIHR, SSHRC, or NSERC, and are planning an upcoming publication regarding your funded research, you will need to plan ahead to identify which OA publishing option is right for you.
