Outreach Services: About
Outreach Services is a unit of the University of Manitoba Libraries. It comprises three library services:
WRHA Virtual Library
The WRHA Virtual Library provides access to subscription resources and library services for professional staff of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, eligible Community Health Agencies, and eligible personal care homes.
MHIKNET
Pronounced "my net", MHIKNET is Manitoba's Health Information and Knowledge Network, and is a service provided to staff of Manitoba Health, Seniors & Active Living, staff of participating Regional Health Authorities, and fee-for-service physicians in Manitoba.
Kivalliq Health Information Service
The Kivalliq Health Information Service supports health care providers working in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut and the community of Sanikiluaq. As well as participating in health research and education activities, the Library provides information services to the nurses, physicians, social services staff, medical rehabilitation and allied health staff working to support the health care needs of people living in the Kivalliq Region.
