Faculty and Researcher Help during COVID-19: Literature Search Service

Literature Search Service

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Manitoba Libraries are offering literature search services to University of Manitoba faculty.

1. Supports faculty with grant proposals, active research, publications and teaching.

2. A survey of prior research (published literature) on a subject that is limited to a defined date range.

3. Provides a list of citations from the literature reviewed.

Knowledge Synthesis Projects

Knowledge Synthesis projects (systematic reviews and scoping reviews), are much more comprehensive than literature searches and involve ongoing consultation between librarians and researchers to determine long-term research goals and desired outcomes. Expected timelines and anticipated results should be discussed between the librarian and the researcher at the outset of the project.
