Welcome to our Citizen Users!

The University of Manitoba Libraries is pleased to offer an array of services to citizens. Although you can use materials in-library at any time, borrowing materials requires a $50 yearly fee and registration for a Citizen Borrower's library card.  Drop by any University of Manitoba library or contact the Libraries for further information.

Getting a Library Card

Get a Citizen Borrower library card in 3 easy steps!

1.  Form and instructions:

2.  You will be issued a 14-digit Library ID and a temporary password.

Once you are registered, an email containing your account details will be sent to you.  

3.  Pay the $50.00 Yearly Citizen Borrower fee. 

After you've been processed, you'll need to pay this fee immediately on your new LIbrary account.

Library privileges must be renewed annually.  An email reminder will be sent one month prior to your account’s expiration date.  Simply re-submit the borrowing fee and UofM Libraries’ Borrower Registration Form to renew privileges.
