Cody is a liaison librarian at the Elizabeth Dafoe Library. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Library and Information Science in 2014 and has been working at UManitoba since early 2015.
His role at the libraries includes collection management, teaching information literacy, staff training, liaising with the Faculty of Education and History department, and reference services for faculty, students and staff. He is also the contact for Data and Statistics for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
His research interests include Open Access Publishing, Data Management, and Research Metrics. He is currently conducting research on how Research Metrics Software is being utilized in Canadian universities and recently completed a project on how Indigenous Researchers at the U of M conduct their research and use the library.
