Graduate Help: Accessibility

Accessibility Services at the Libraries

Where the use of our library facilities and services are difficult or impossible for people with disabilities, we will accommodate users to examine sources, retrieve materials, and access services.

To qualify for accessibility services, all students must first register with Student Accessibility Services.

Faculty, staff, and other users may request accommodations by contacting LibraryAccessibility@umanitoba.ca.

Print Disability Services

Users with a print disability as defined by Section 32 of the Canadian Copyright Act may request library materials in alternate formats.

Once you are registered, you may place a request for library materials in an accessible format using the Alternate Format Request Form, or by clicking the Access for Users with Disabilities link under any item in our Library Search.

Users with any other accessibility requests, or feedback regarding the Libraries' services or resources, may submit their request or feedback using this form. Alternatively, please fill out the PDF and send it to LibraryAccessibility@umanitoba.ca, or drop it off at any UM library Service Desk.
