Borrower Privileges

As a graduate student, you can:

  • checkout up to 200 regular items
  • checkout up to 4 reserved items
  • request up to 25 items
  • renew up to 3 times
  • access ebooks and online articles off campus
  • get books and articles shipped or emailed to you from other universities

Loan Periods

Books:

  • End of Term loans (December 15, April 15, August 15)
  • Renewal Limit – 3

Journals

  • 1 week loan (except the most current issues which are library-use only)
  • Renewal Limit – 3

Other Materials

  • Ask the library that owns the material, or look them up on our locations page.

Items may be recalled if someone else requests access to them - you`ll be notified via email of when you need to return the item that`s been recalled.

Suspension of Privileges

Borrowing privileges will be suspended if:
  • outstanding fines or fees exceed $20.00
  • recalled material is not returned by the due date
  • material borrowed through Document Delivery becomes overdue
  • the Registrar’s Office or an institution with which we have reciprocal borrowing privileges block you
