This service is free to students within Canada, and available to all students living outside of Winnipeg.
Fill out the information on the page, including both your contact information as well as specifics for the type of resource you need. In addition to providing specific materials, such a particular book or article, off Campus Library Services can also refer you to the appropriate subject librarian for help with more complex research needs. Once the form is completed, you should receive confirmation that your request has gone through, via a pop-up box on the current screen.
The information you require will be sent by mail through regular Canada Post services, once it’s available. Therefore, it’s important to place your request early enough for the library to collect the items and mail them out to the address provided. The amount of time this will take can vary, depending on where you live and the types of resources you need.
For current students living within Canada (excluding Winnipeg), materials will be distributed with a postage-paid return label. If you are studying outside of Canada, however, it’s your responsibility to cover return postage fees.
For questions about library requests or other Off-Campus services, students can always contact Off-Campus Library Services by phone, text, email or fax. From the “Request” page, all contact information is found on the right-hand side of the screen.
