What do I do if my children can’t go to school or day care?

If you are unable to find alternative child care and need to work from home please inform your supervisor or Head. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can request vacation time and it will be granted.

What do I do if I’m currently working from home and get sick?

Please inform your supervisor or Head that you are sick and will not be working from home.

Who do I contact if my supervisor or Head is unavailable?

All changes to reporting will be sent by email and posted on the libguide (https://libguides.lib.umanitoba.ca/c.php?g=715173&p=5099292)

How do I report my hours that I worked from home?

Submit VIP timesheets as normal.  Any changes to this procedure will be posted on the libguide.

I have just returned from an international trip. What should I do?

Please inform your supervisor or Head. Self-isolate for 14 days.

What do I do if I already have vacation scheduled?

All scheduled vacation will be honoured, if you wish to change your vacation dates speak to your unit head or supervisor.

When can I return to work after I've been sick (not diagnosed with Covid-19)?

Please do not return to work until you are 24 hours symptom free.

When can I return to work after being diagnosed with Covid-19?

Please do not return to work until you are cleared by your doctor to do so.
