The Ovid MEDLINE® database is being reloaded to implement the 2024 MeSH and for the annual update of the MEDLINE input. Ovid expects it to be live on Monday, March 4, 2024. Alerts will run on Saturday, March 2, 2024 prior to the reload.

Information regarding changes and updates to MeSH can be found at What's New in MeSH. Until Ovid MEDLINE is reloaded, you can continue to use 2023 MeSH, while to retrieve records with new 2024 subject headings you may perform regular keyword (MP) or subject heading (SH, HW) searches as explained in the Ovid MEDLINE Database Guide. Because the NLM paused updating MEDLINE from 8 to 15 December, there will be lower result counts for AutoAlerts that include MEDLINE.
