Customizing Google Scholar

Adding Google Scholar Links to University of Manitoba eJournals

To access material through Google Scholar, you need to select the University of Manitoba Libraries within Google Scholar to access material for which you would otherwise be charged.

  • Go to Settings on Google Scholar.
  • Click on "Library Links". 
  • Enter Manitoba and then click on "Find Library".  From the list returned, select the University of Manitoba as your affiliated library.
  • now the "Check Library Access" link is displayed in your search results.

Adding Links to Download to Reference Management programs like RefWorks, EndNote or BibTex

  • While in Settings in Google Scholar, select "Show links to Import citations into" under the Bibliography manager option.
