Biographical sketch: Dorothy McKibbon was a former employee of the University of Manitoba Libraries.

Custodial history: The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in 1984 by Dorothy McKibbon.

Scope and content: The fonds is divided into three series. 40 photographs depict Lake Winnipeg and Northern Manitoba from 1915-1930. The second series of 19 black and white photographs is of the 1950 flood in Winnipeg. The third series is a single photograph of the donor's father teaching school in Greenridge, Manitoba in the 1890s.
