Artist Statement:

This is rotoscoping of Red House dancing. The entire animation took me one week to draw: 250 images on at tablet linked to the computer. I have added music to the video, which is not the same as the original dance since this music to me is more peaceful and does not attract too much attention from the drawings. There are some changes that I have made from the original dance. For example, the heart. I really enjoyed this project as it helped me to focus on the process. Each page of drawing, to me, is meaningful. I love to draw figures and making them move. It is interesting to draw animation and it is my first time doing rotoscoping. In the future, I would like to use this skill not only for school work but also for interests. I would keep on doing art and enjoy it.
