Best practice - linking to articles

Using One-Stop-Search is the most stable and reliable method to create permanent links to articles.

How to Link to Articles through Library Search [reviewed 18 Jan 2021]

  1. Go to Library Search.
  2. Search for the article.
  3. Click on the link button towards the right side of the title.
  4. Click on "copy the permalink to clipboard".
  5. Paste it as your link!

Building Links using Library Search

Step 1: Go to Library Search

Step 2: Search for the article

e.g.

Yoga as an alternative and complementary approach for stress management: a systematic review.
Manoj M Sharma
Journal of evidence-based complementary & alternative medicine, 2014, Vol.19(1), p.59-67

Type the full title of the article into the search box. Click search.


Step 3: Click on the link icon

Step 4: Copy the "Permalink" provided


Step 7: Paste it as your link!

  • in UM Learn as web link
  • a WORD document
