A preprint is a scientific manuscript without peer-review and has not yet been accepted by a journal, typically submitted to a public server or repository by the author. Use the search interfaces below to find physics-related preprints.

arXiv.org This link opens in a new window arXiv.org is an open access database of preprints and e-prints of scientific papers, maintained by Cornell University Library, covering the subject areas of physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, and statistics. Mathematicians and scientists regularly upload their papers to arXiv.org for worldwide access before they are published in peer-reviewed journals. Content is updated monthly.
NASA Astrophysics Data System This link opens in a new window The SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a Digital Library portal for researchers in Astronomy and Physics, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) under a NASA grant. The ADS maintains three bibliographic databases containing millions of bibliographic records in Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics, and arXiv e-prints, which are searchable through highly customizable query forms.

OSTI.gov E-Print Network OSTI is the DOE office that collects, preserves, and disseminates DOE-sponsored R&D results that are the outcomes of R&D projects or other funded activities at DOE labs and facilities nationwide and grantees at universities and other institutions.
