I'm the Libraries' UX Librarian. UX is short for User Experience, and that means the study and design of how someone using a product or service feels about that product or service.
I do UX for the University Libraries by testing our websites and services for how they make you feel, and by then working with the Libraries staff to design solutions that make you hate researching a little bit less. My UX research incorporates everything from observational studies to usability testing to focus groups, with a bunch of different flavours in between.
