The advanced search allows you to mix various search elements to create a focused or specialized search of all U of M Libraries' materials.
The Search for buttons allow you to select one of:
The Any field drop down box allow you to search for words in Title, Author, Subject, ISBN or ISSN.
Combine lines of your search with Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to include or exclude keywords or phrases.
You can also focus your search by limiting your search to only include:
Example: Search for books written in English with "history" in the title, and "Manitoba" in the subject description.
