Though many articles are now available online, you may find the University of Manitoba Libraries does not have access to something you want to read. If this is the case, you can create a document delivery request. When you make a document delivery request, UM Libraries will borrow the item on your behalf from another institution's library, either in Canada or internationally. If you are requesting an article, you will be sent an electronic copy to your email.
Note that you can also submit document delivery requests for books that the UM Libraries does not have. Another option is submitting a purchase request for the item, to recommend UM Libraries to purchase the item.
As an aside, know that in addition to UM Libraries borrowing materials from other libraries, we lend our collection to members of other libraries as well!
