Adobe® Digital Editions software allows you to read ebooks that have been downloaded for offline use. You can also transfer the book to a supported remote eReader device. You can organize your ebooks into a custom library and annotate pdfs. Adobe Digital Editions supports industry-standard ebook formats, including PDF and ePub.
1. Download Adobe Editions from: http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/digital-editions/download.html
2. Create an Adobe ID by selecting the "Don't have an Adobe ID" link on the Adobe Sign in page.
3. Download your ebook. Choose to open with Adobe Digital Editions and sign into your Adobe account.
How can I switch to a different Adobe ID?
Press Ctrl+Shift+D (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+D (Mac).
How many computers and devices can use the same Adobe ID?
You can activate up to six computers and devices. If you reach the limit, contact Customer Service to reset your activations.
How do I transfer books to an eReader?
To transfer it to a reader, plug your reader into a USB port and Adobe Digital Editions will detect your reader and ask you to authorize it to your Adobe ID. Readers used with your copy of Digital Editions will all be tied to that ID. To move titles to the reader you synced, you can simply drag them from the right half of the screen and drop them into the eReader folder you want.

How can I return an ebook before the due date?
You may want to return an ebook before the due date as some ebook platforms limit the number of books that can be borrowed at a time. To return an item early click the Item Info menu and select Return Borrowed Item if the ebook platform offers that feature. Ebrary is one of the platforms that allows you to return your books early.
