This session will help you prepare for your first publication, covering topics like creating an ORCID, understanding open access publishing options, and tracking citations of your publications. Description: This session explores various networking and academic profile websites to help you determine why tools like these matter and to choose which one(s) are appropriate for you. These tools raise the profile of a researcher at any stage of their career and better highlight scholarly impact. ORCID, ScopusID, ResearcherID, and Google Scholar are compared. In this session, participants will: 1. Identify key resources available to help a researcher track, measure, and visualize their impact. 2. Assess researcher profile sites and their key features 3.
