Editing Output Styles

Endnote has a searchable collection of additional output styles and import filters, and you can modify your own. Here are a few you may find useful.

Import - ClinicalTrials.gov

To import records from ClinicalTrails.Gov:

  1. Click on "Download"

  2. select the number of studies

  3. select "All available columns"

  4. Select "Plain text" as the file format

  5. Click on Download and save the file that is generated

  6. Import the file using the ClinicalTrials filter

Import - WHO Clinical Trials Registry Platform

 

Import - Open Grey

Note: you have to import records from Open Grey  once at a time using the following method:

  • Highlight the text, starting with the “Title:”, all the way to the end of the last piece of tabulated data

  • Copy it

  • Open Notepad

  • Paste the text in

  • Save the file

  • In EndNote go to ‘File/Import’

  • Select the file you just saved

  • Select the Open Grey import filter (available here)
