Welcome

Use this guide to help you find data and statistics produced by Canadian governments and agencies. This guide can help you find and access:

MICRODATA: data at the level of the individual, household, business, etc. responding to a survey, with codes (usually numbers) representing the response to each question.

AGGREGATE DATA or STATISTICS: summary-level data (the result of applying statistical analyses to microdata), often presented in tabular format.

TIME SERIES DATA: observations of the same variable (e.g., unemployment rate) made over time, usually at a regular interval (e.g., annually).

GEOSPATIAL DATA: data that include geographic positioning information relative to a coordinate system.
