Building Permit Statistics and Information
Building permit statistics updated on a monthly basis. These reports highlight: permit activity; permit values; number of dwelling units constructed and demolished; and a list of the major projects.
MyPeg is a community indicator system, tracking measures called ‘indicators’ that reflect and measure our city’s well-being. The indicators, developed by a wide variety of stakeholders, are grouped into seven theme areas: Built Environment, Basic Needs, Economy, Education & Learning, Health, Natural Environment, and Social Vitality & Governance.
The Winnipeg Street Census is a large-scale, community-based research project that gathers information about the extent and nature of homelessness in Winnipeg at a point in time. The information collected will be used to improve decision making for funders, governments, and community organizations, as well as tracking progress on ending homelessness over time.
