During the COVID-19 pandemic, MHIKNET Library Services is open during regular business hours.

Our staff are safely working from home during this time.  We have suspended loaning and returning physicals books, but all other services are available. 

Note that we are not able to monitor our fax machine on a weekly basis.

Manitoba's Health Information and Knowledge Network (MHIKNET)

Pronounced "my net", MHIKNET is Manitoba's Health Information and Knowledge Network, and is a service provided by the University of Manitoba's Health Sciences Libraries to staff of Manitoba Health, Seniors & Active Living, staff of participating Regional Health Authorities, and fee-for-service physicians in Manitoba.

MHIKNET provides quality information for patient care, evidence-based practice, health promotion, program planning and evaluation, continuing education, and staff development.

Remote access to online texts, journals and databases subscribed to by the University of Manitoba Libraries is not available to MHIKNET clients at this time. Existing vendor licences prohibit such access to library card holders who are not faculty, staff or students of the University of Manitoba.
