MHIKNET provides quality information for patient care, evidence-based practice, health promotion, program planning and evaluation, continuing education, and staff development.
Remote access to online texts, journals and databases subscribed to by the University of Manitoba Libraries is not available to MHIKNET clients at this time. Existing vendor licences prohibit such access to library card holders who are not faculty, staff or students of the University of Manitoba.

A library account enables clients to borrow library materials, order literature searches, and make requests for copies of articles, which will be delivered to you.
MHIKNET library accounts are valid for five years. MHIKNET clients are responsible for contacting the MHIKNET to update their record should any changes occur (address, phone number, etc).
MHIKNET clients are bound by the University of Manitoba Libraries policy on Fines and Suspension of Borrowing Privileges. You can look up when items are due, fines that you have incurred, or change your personal information by logging into "My Account" on the University of Manitoba Libraries website.
