Manitoba's Health Information Knowledge Network
Holiday Closure: MHIKNET will be closed from December 24, 2025 – January 4, 2026. Please submit literature search requests to our service as soon as possible, and no later than December 12. To ensure requests for physical items (e.g. books) are processed before the winter holidays, the deadline for ordering physical items through the library is December 5, 2025. The service will resume in the new year. Pending requests will be attended to in the order received when staff return January 5, 2026.
Pronounced "my net", MHIKNET is Manitoba's Health Information and Knowledge Network, and is a service provided by the University of Manitoba's Health Sciences Libraries to staff of Manitoba Health, staff of participating Regional Health Authorities, and fee-for-service physicians in Manitoba.
MHIKNET provides quality information for patient care, evidence-based practice, health promotion, program planning and evaluation, continuing education, and staff development.
