Need Evidence Based Health Information? Request a Literature Search!

Health sciences librarians will do a professional literature search for you on any topic or question you have. We select and search the most appropriate databases, library catalogues, and other Internet resources available through the University of Manitoba Libraries.

We will send you a list of references by email, mail, fax, or in-person pick-up. Select the citations that are of interest to you and we will send you the full text documents.

Books and other library materials are delivered to Manitoba Health and RHA clients through the mail, and full-text journal articles are emailed, mailed, or faxed.

How Long Does It Take??

On our literature forms you have the option to recieve your search results in:

• 5 working days
• 10 working days
• 24 hours (urgent patient care related searches only)

If you have another time frame in mind please let us know and we'll try and accommodate your schedule.
