What do the icons mean when viewing a PDF in Zotero
Magnifying glass with minus (-) symbol:
Zoom out
Magnifying glass with plus (+) symbol:
Zoom in
Box with two ended arrow
: zoom to fit page width
Up-Arrow:
go back a page
Down-Arrow
: go forward a page
Page / Pages:
indicates which page of the document you are on and how many pages are in the document
Highlighter marker:
use to highlight text
Sticky-note:
Write comments on the PDF in your own words.
Box with plus (+)
: select an area (e.g. a formula, a graph, table or figure)
Colour
: Choose colour for highlights and sticky-notes (comments)
Magnifying glass:
allows you to search the document and it's annotations.
