Steps for Find Available PDF

Pick a record (e.g. How to undertake a research project and write a scientific paper) and right-click and select "Find Available PDFs".

Zotero settings for Library Look up (UM Libraries)

By setting up the University of Manitoba Libraries OpenURL resolver address, you can use Zotero's Library Lookup to connect to the University of Manitoba Libraries electronic collections through our Library Search.

Setting up for Windows:

  1. Click Edit (Zotero menu bar).
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Go to "Continue setting up for both Windows & Mac" instructions below.

Setting up for or Mac:

  1. Click Zotero (Zotero menu bar).
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Go to "Continue setting up for both Windows & Mac" instructions below.

Continue setting up for both Windows & Mac:

  1. Click Advanced.
  2. In the Resolver box type OR copy/paste in the following: https://search.lib.umanitoba.ca/openurl/01UMB_INST/UMB?
  3. In the Version box select 1.0
  4. Closing the window will save the changes.

Using Library Lookup

  1. Click on an item in your Zotero collection.
  2. Click on the green arrow (icon; above the third column).
  3. Click Library Lookup to open Library Search to the item's record.
