Artist Statement:

Meet Me in Cyber Space is a series of three digital drawings and collage, featuring imagined spaces of cyber fantasy. Inspired by the art activist group Mobile Image’s series of work titled Electronic Café, as well as the social transformation that has occurred in response to the current global pandemic, Meet Me in Cyber Space looks at the altered primary social interactions of our time moving from in-person communications to the digital realm. This work aims to relocate the café (where conversations used to occur) into the visually fantastical, vibrant, and limitless world of technology in order to give a sense of place to remote communications.
