Collection Description
The Commercial was a weekly Winnipeg based publication dealing with monetary, mercantile, and manufacturing interests in Manitoba and the Northwest. The magazine featured classified ads, market prices for grain, produce, hardware etc., articles pertaining to world news, snippets of who is doing what and what is going on locally (marriages, auctions, etc.), and it also contained advertisements for everything from shoes to baking ingredients.
